It was one of those days that you never forget... A northern snowstorm, flock after flock of migrating honkers, big groups finishing in the decoys… Just when you think it doesn’t get any better, our Good Boy - Vader - returns back to the blind with the hardware.
This photo was taken after Vader retrieved his first honker. Vader retrieved quite a few banded birds in his day. The bird was banded in Churchill Manitoba. The icing on the cake to an already memorable day.
